No two brand stories are identical. your content shouldn’t be either.

Since 2015 I have worked with more than 300 clients across the US and internationally as a photographer, videographer, and brand strategist focused on cinematic, emotion-focused storytelling and bespoke brand image curation that takes you right back to the heart of things. As an art director and brand media strategist I aim to produce story-driven, wholly unique brand imagery, impactful messaging, and marketing content that converts. I’ve had the pleasure of partnering with businesses, non-profits and creative entrepreneurs to help build brand identity and foster relationships with audiences who can champion their mission, products and services as passionately as they do.

If you're looking for a joyful team player, innovative creative, and passionate storyteller to walk alongside you and your brand I would love to connect!

Reclaiming pride in Asian culture and heritage

When a woman decides she is going to start something completely from scratch, simply because she sees the need in her community and wants to tackle it, I could do one thousand backflips with pride and joy. That's exactly how I feel about client and friend, Mai, a Brooklyn resident, busy mom of two, side-hustle marathoner, and now, the freshly-minted owner of Bo & Mei: a service that curates and delivers joy-filled kits to strengthen connection and pride to Asian culture.

I had the privilege of trekking across the country with a suitcase full of gear barely under the 50-pound weight limit to meet Mai and capture her life and story for a few days. Mai had a clear vision, laser focus, and an abundance of passion. We're so excited that Bo & Mei has launched their first series of kits to help families reclaim their pride and connection to Asian culture and heritage. Don't take our my for it though: listen to Mai's incredible vision and business story in her own words.

Upon the launch of their product campaign, Bo & Mei exceeded sales goals by 300% and entered the international market in the first week.

When Humble Brands, a nation-wide natural deodorant company, found themselves experiencing rapid growth and the opportunity to partner with several major online retailers, they reached out with one question… “how do you succeed in marketing a scent-based product without customers being able to actually smell it?”

Cue the incredibly fun sales campaign challenge of creating a series of video vignettes aimed at giving each scent their own personality.

Who is Sweet Orange & Cinnamon? She’s your favorite day of the year wrapped up in one cozy embrace. She’s stepping out of the biting cold and into the warmth of pure holiday cheer; mulled cider in one hand and a fresh baked cookie in the other.

Frankincense & Fir is the bluebird winter day spent deep in the pines, to Frankincense & Palo Santo’s desert retreat on a warm summer night.

Each video is a creative stretch of the imagination, aimed at eliciting a consumer’s senses through a screen so that they can picture themselves partnered with the best scent for them. It’s been a joy to partner with the Humble Brands team in this season of success, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for them. Be on the lookout for my personal favorite deodorant pal, Rosemary & Mint, in a major retailer near you this coming year!

This year when my favorite city brought a pro team to my literal backyard (seriously… I can hear the cheering from my house) I was determined to find my way to the pitch. After filming Spokane Velocity’s home-opener from the stands in May I was invited by USL Spokane to document both the men’s and women’s teams for the duration of their home seasons.

In this inaugural year the club’s goal (no pun intended) has been to build a brand and foster two historic teams that the city can rally behind, and story-telling has been a major focus for driving ticket sales and securing investor partners. Crafting a series of short form docu-films that have tracked these new teams in real time has been one of those strategies, and my approach to each film has been to gives fans the chance to revisit, or be introduced to, that same electric experience they have in the stands.

As a lifelong athlete, working directly for the Spokane Velocity and Spokane Zephyr FC teams has been not only a career highlight of mine, but also a personal dream come true. Representation and opportunity for women in media is something I could talk about for a thousand hours, especially in the sports industry where women in media are even more underrepresented. Having the honor of capturing pro-level sports alongside a majority-women media team in the city I love best was a cherry on top, and my heart was stoked to see it.

Our Year End Campaign content was the perfect blend of content planning, strategic thinking, and video development. It was the full package and to date, was the most successful campaign we have done. Amanda was instrumental in the marketing and storytelling efforts, and we are so grateful that we were not handled as just another client, but as friends.

Amanda’s gift for storytelling and eye for moments big and small made her a natural fit for covering USL Spokane soccer matches. She captures the spirit and grit of our two squads and their distinct personalities. She executes our vision for our brand while brining her own flare to every project. We love having Amanda on the pitch!

Amanda brings an energy that is both calm & professional, as well as enthusiastic and FUN. I was nervous to be on camera but she was so patient and flexible with me and I felt very understood every step of the way. During filming it felt like I was just hanging out with my bestie. Big thanks for making the process fun and approachable for me!

Amanda is an artist, a journalist, and a friend, all wrapped up in to one. Her eye is unmatched and I honestly feel like she must have cloned herself 5 times over in order to be able to capture all the details she was able to weave into our video. I’ve never seen another videographer who can tell a story that’s so authentic, but in a way that is so stunning to watch it feels like a movie.

Meet Amanda

I'm Amanda, your red-headed, pnw-based but travel-loving brand media specialist. I’m lucky enough to have been born and raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and currently live in Spokane, WA with my husband Danny and our beloved pets Fitzgerald & Louie (…yes, like the jazz duo.) You'll probably hear me talk about them a lot.

I’m happiest outdoors, always in the kitchen (but never following recipes), best friends with any cat I meet, probably rewatching the 1998 Parent Trap, cheering for all women’s sports (even the ones I know nothing about) and forever looking to uplift and open doors for women in media.

I’m passionate about cinematic, emotion-focused storytelling and bespoke brand image curation that takes you right back to the heart of things.
